Revenue and Billing Executive

Job description / Role

Our client a Magic Circle law firm are currently recruiting for a Revenue and Billing Executive to support the Middle East. The successful candidate will be based in the Dubai office. Our client looks for employees that are self motivated, have a flexible attitude and are team players.

- Work closely with the Finance team and Fee Earners in the preparation of monthly invoices
- Process timeline changes and updates in the billing system and generate required client documents
- Process draft and final invoices and provide supporting information and analysis as needed
- Ensure transactions comply with Solicitors Code of Conduct as applicable
- Ensure that approvals are received and invoices are dispatched to clients and filed promptly in line
- with established deadlines and cut-offs
- Update Fee Earners and Clients on current work in progress where required
- Follow up on outstanding invoices with clients and Fee Earners to ensure that all debts are collected
- Promptly and collection targets are met
- Produce and deliver client statements and analysis as required
- Maintain accurate records of collection activities in the practice management and accounting system

Requirements

- Fluent in English - reading, speaking and writing
- Must have previous experience working in the finance function of a law firm
- Have a keen interest in both the credit control and billing aspect of the role
- Must be able to work under pressure and manage your own time efficiently
