Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Reporting to the Cluster General Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited.

What you will be doing:

- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Maintain close liaison with the Sales, Conference, and Accounting teams
- Assist in the implementation of hotel sales strategies in the reservation and inventory systems,
- Produce daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required
- Assist in the management of rooms inventory to maximize rooms revenue,
- Maintain accuracy of information/data and enhance automation efforts in reporting tools,
- Assist in the preparation of competitive analysis and other supporting documents for presentation at RevMax, monthly month end, ownership meeting, and budget presentation.,
- Assist in managing room authorizations, rates, and restrictions, including communicating rate restrictions and strategy to operation team,
- Perform Revenue Management month end reporting and auditing and provide forward looking information for the purposes of forecasting and strategizing,
- Accurately generate and update all Revenue Management reports and serve as primary link for reporting and analytical needs of the Revenue Management team and ad-hoc reports for senior leadership,
- Assist with system maintenance including but not limited to, inputting rates, restrictions, monitoring forecasted demand, updating group forecasting and running daily system checks,
- Assist with training of new associates as necessary on revenue management tools.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks, analysis, and reporting on a needed basis to senior leadership.
- Assist with training of new associates as necessary on revenue tools
- Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
- Follow department policies and procedures standards
- Follow all safety policies
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Previous leadership experience in a similar role required
- Dynamic can-do attitude
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
- Presents a professional and polished appearance
- Effectively deal with guests and other team members
- Previous reservation experience highly preferred
- Experience with Opera PMS, IDEAS, OTA Insight, Passkey GroupMax & Opera Sales and Catering preferred
- Possessing the trait of being organized and multi-tasking
- Ability to complete work within given deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all time
