Risk Manager

Job description / Role

* Work with Department Champions to define business continuity strategies, plans & procedures for all specific areas of business continuity and get approvals on them from respective Department Heads
* Act as a single point of contact for all Department Heads on operational aspects of their respective business continuity plans during a crisis operation
* Assisting the Principal Risk Owners and Principal Risk Coordinators with the identification of key risks and mitigating controls in their business units, as well as action plans to address any gaps in the mitigating measures identified.
* Performing root cause analyses on identified risk events to recommend improvements to prevent these risk events from re-occurring in future.
* Utilizing mathematical and statistical knowledge to assist with the building of risk models in support of Operational Risk Management.
* Providing support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organization.

Requirements

* Candidates requires a minimum of ten years experience.
* Bachelors degree is essential.
* Commercial project experience.
* Must have previous experience working for a Main Contractor.
