Details of the job

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for Analyzing and designing solutions for new and changing business processes in the areas of Merchandsing system RMS,RESA,RPM,ReIM-MOM, and reporting.

- Develop, Configure, and Unit Test Oracle RMS based planning solutions based on Business requirements

- Ideation and conceptualization of new solutions to enhance business processes or solve the existing business problems/challenges.

- Working with the architecture team to identify suitable solutions to address the business challenges/requirements.

- Responsible for solution design that combines application, technology, data & integration components and adheres to Architecture standards and principles

- Analyze and carry out business impact assessments on the new/proposed solutions, manage change, drive change management with business.

- Identify IT and related business risks across areas of responsibility and develop strategies for risk management and mitigation.

- Responsible for new solution POC / prototype building / evaluation.

- Serve as a domain and technical expert on providing technical direction, interpretation, and alternatives.

- Ensure adherence to IT services Policies, Procedures, and Practices. Implement industry best practices and coding patterns to create maintainable, modular, and high-quality code solutions.

- Verifying technical reference information, including user guides, training manuals, and system requirements.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate with Product, Architects, Operations, and Release Management to ensure efficient project launches and deliveries that align with business requirements.

- Contribute to shaping the Technical Roadmap and take ownership of the entire end-to-end product delivery process.

You Must Have:

- Functional and Technical knowledge of at least two or more of the following modules:RMS,RPM,REIM,RESA,RIB is a must

- Total experience is 10 years and Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar Role.

- In-depth knowledge / Proficient in Hands-on experience with Oracle retail technical understanding

- Experience in Unix-Shell scripting, PL/SQL scripting, and execution.

- Exposure to Oracle forms,Pro*C is preferable.

- Ability to assess rapidly changing technologies and apply them to business needs

- Confident & familiar with scripting/programming in languages like Python,Java is an added advantage

- Familiar with cloud-based solutions, hosting & deployment requirements

- Global experience with multi-brand retail / CPG business is preferred..

- Exhibit practical knowledge and hands-on experience in both design and coding.

- Possess experience in addressing performance and scalability challenges at a massive scale.

- Optimize data storage, processing and retrieval mechanisms for performance, cost, and scalability using data storage services (such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, etc.), data processing services (such as Azure Data Bricks, Azure Synapse, etc.) and data visualization (PowerBI, Qlik, etc.) & integration services (Data API builder, logic apps, etc.)

- Monitor and troubleshoot data platform performance, identify and resolve issues, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment, configuration, and monitoring processes using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, or other relevant tools.

- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud data services and provide recommendations on adopting new technologies or features to enhance the data platform.

- Document technical designs, procedures, and guidelines for data platform engineering and operations
