Russian National - Accountant

Job description / Role

We are recruiting exclusively for our client, an investment and advisory company in Business Bay.

Seeking to hire a young, energetic Russian passport holder, as there may be travel to Russia to liaise with financial authorities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements to include the monthly balance sheet, income statement and report on changes in financial position/budget variances and maintain related records.
• Maintain the general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation, closing books monthly and setting up new accounts.
• Responsible for petty cash, AP and AR and banking activities
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and Russian Standards
• Work very closely with the CEO and Compliance Manager
• Prepare documents for annual external audit. Responsible for management and audit of all capital information.
• Provide financial analytical reports and KPI to management

Salary:
AED 8,000 to 9,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 yrs experience in accounting
• Ability to work on your own with minimal supervision
• Work experience of IFRS and Russian accounting standards
• Willing to learn quickly – full support will be given by the CEO
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English & fluent in Russian
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Ability to interact with all levels of staff and management
• Innovative problem solving techniques
