Their in-house art gallery also provides guests and visitors with an opportunity to view authentic, specially commissioned pieces from three acclaimed Arabic artists.

As a result of their expansion, we are seeking an experienced and highly professional Sales and Marketing Executive to join their team

The key role is to develop the occupancy rate within the organization

Key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Develop and initiate all actions necessary and appropriate to achieve established sales department revenue goals and overall business revenue goals for the hotel.
- Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the establishment.
- Actively and consistently prospect and develop new sources of business for through telephone, marketing and outside personal sales calls.
- Successfully convert potential business opportunities to confirmed bookings.
- Prepare and timely submit Daily/Monthly Activity Reports.
- Research and develop strategies and plans which identify opportunities for growth.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Directly manage and coordinate client accounts.
- Represent the establishment at various community and/or business meetings to promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
- Research competitors' products/services.
- Develop and conduct sales campaigns, as well as marketing and promotional plans.
- Assist department(s) to achieve objectives established.
- Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all customers and clients.
- Manage online and offline sales revenue to set targets.
- Develop overall pricing strategy to include all market segments and distribution channels.
- Ensure all distribution channels are optimized.
- Play a leader role in weekly operational meetings.
- Produce accurate forecast on weekly and monthly basis.
- Respond to contacts in a business-like and timely manner.
- Respond in timely manner to all leads and potential business opportunities
- Participate in sales meetings and brainstorming opportunities to increase sales results.
- Update data base of customers
- Prepare and distribute internal/external correspondence, contracts, group resumes, rooming lists, schedules, and other documents in an accurate and timely manner.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years sales or marketing experience in hotels / Hospitality industry
- Experience in the UAE is essential
- Excellent communications skills in both English and Arabic would be an advantage
