About Benjamin Siggers:
Benjamin Siggers was founded in September 2017 by Matthew Benjamin and James Siggers, on the premise that busy professionals desire quality clothing and expert advice, but lack the time to go and find it.
Since entering the market in the UAE, the company has bucked the trend in the industry, recording year on year growth of 85% so far in 2019 and working with over 300 customers. In our first year we were named as one of the leading tailors in Dubai by Esquire, voted in the ‘Top 3’ for ‘Start-up of the Year’ in the Etisalat SMB Awards and also nominated for a Gulf Sustainability Award.
Prior to establishing Benjamin Siggers, our founders worked for the world’s largest clothing company, where they both set a number of sales record. Collectively they have almost 15 years of industry experience and have been schooled on principle cultured leadership and today maintain a leadership culture that is focused on principles. We have set the goal of becoming the leading custom clothing company in the Middle East by 2022 and we are currently looking for 2 talented individuals who can help us grow to achieve this goal.
A number of things have contributed to our sales success and give us an advantage over our competitors:
No expensive retail space: At Benjamin Siggers we visit all of our clients in the convenience of their home or office. Without the burden of expensive retail space, we can pass on more value to our clients, as we don’t have to mark up our products as much as a traditional tailor or retail brand.
Working mainly with cloth mills and not cloth merchants: While cloth merchants can have a wider range of fabric and benefit from marketing and branding, they purchase fabric from cloth mills and then mark it up significantly. Therefore by working directly with mills, we can offer the same level of fabric as the leading merchants in the world at a much fairer price.
Ethical Workshops: The fashion industry is unfortunately plague by a number of human rights issues including unfair wages, unfair working hours, poor working conditions, child labor and more. We have taken it upon ourselves to personally visit each and everyone of our manufacturing partners to ensure that they comply with our ethical values.
Pioneering organic materials: We believe that the future of the fashion industry, but for us the future is now. Despite being a small business, we are the only company of our kind, not only in the region, but in the world, offering a complete range of organic products; organic silk ties, organic cotton shirts, and we are currently in the process of making organic wool for our suits.
Ownership Model: Our clients prefer to deal with a single representative for a long time. Therefore our opportunity has been designed to allow quality sales professionals to earn significant income, opportunities to lead within the business, share profit, and ownership of the company, so that you can build the business with us.
Main responsibilities: With our founders having come from an organisation which at the time had 50 years of experience hiring and training direct sales professionals, there are certain principles and practices that served as roadmaps to success while they were there, that we follow today.
We will share this roadmap with you and support you in how to execute each part of our sales process. If you join us, this is what your first 6 months would look like and what we’d expect from you:
New partners train for at least 1 intensive month prior to beginning to sell and earn commission. We will teach you how to transfer your sales skills to our industry and the technical aspects of the role such as measuring and fitting clothing. We know exactly what needs to be done during this time in order to set you up for a successful start.
Providing you complete these objectives then you will be in the best position to exceed your targets from your 2nd month with us. We pour ourselves into you during this period and expect you to bring the same energy to the table.
Throughout your next 5 months in the business we will continue to train you, so that you are able to hone your skills. This will mainly consist of shadowing and workshops, so that you benefit from witnessing as many selling opportunities and fittings as possible, and you are able to put these skills into practice.
Once a new consultant is out of initial training and begins selling, the habits for success are as follows:
Set 5 selling appointments daily
Continue identifying 15 quality prospects daily and adding to sales pipeline
Give excellent customer service
Ask for referrals at every opportunity
Work on 2-3 specific skills per week with leader
Set goals and review them daily
As simple as it sounds, if you do these things, you will find your way to success.
You will be working with business leaders across a number of industries, our job is to first arrange meetings with these businessmen, meet them in the convenience of their office or home, and to consult with them to find out how they currently shop, what is in their wardrobe, who they meet, what image they wish to convey, what their preferences are, where they go, how they like their clothes to fit, etc, and then advise and make suggestions that will improve and add value to their wardrobe. Our goal is to build relationships and work with these clients over a long period of time.
During the time that our founders have been in Dubai, with the same commission plan you will be working from, they’ve individually earned as much as AED 90k in a single month. The trick is to become great listeners, trusted advisors, and service mind professionals – this is a consultative selling role.

Working Hours: Sun-Thurs, 9am - 6pm, occasional weekends or evenings as per clients schedule
Gross monthly base salary: Up to AED 18,000 (depending on experience) + Comm
Commission / Bonus: Uncapped Commission + Profit Bonus

You must have at least 3-4 years of sales experience and be able to demonstrate success in these roles. We want people that can grow and adapt with us. We know where we want to go, but the course we take to get there may change, so we want talented people that are adaptable and can change course if and when required.
We are not simply looking for sales people, we are looking for the right people that can go on to become partners in our business. People that do what they say they are going to do and welcome responsibility. We want doers but also thinkers who aren’t afraid to give their input.
You must be self-motivated, self-disciplined, self-driven, a self learner, have a passion to achieve great results, and not need to be tightly managed.
About the Company
Benjamin Siggers is a Dubai based luxury menswear company specialising in wardrobe consultancy. We work mainly with senior executives who don't like to shop or don't have the time to shop. Unlike a traditional tailor or retail brand, we visit all of our clients in the comfort of their home or office. All of our garments are handmade in Italy, with a focus on sustainability.
Our goal is to improve and maintain our clients wardrobes using organic materials wherever possible, we aim to make our clients look good, feel good, while doing good. All our clothes are made responsibly in ethical workshops and a portion of all our sales goes towards providing clean water in developing countries.
