Sales Director - Technology - Dubai

A leading global technology company is seeking an Enterprise Sales Director to join their Middle East team. The individual will be responsible for strategically driving sales in the technology space, managing all the client products and services and managing 5-7 direct reports.

The successful candidate will possess strong Sales expertise around the qualification and development of new large/complex opportunities, business case development and consultative selling.

To be suitable for this role you must be fluent in Arabic & English, have strong connections within UAE government and have solid experience selling enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the UAE Enterprise Sales Team responsible for selling professional services and enterprise portfolio.
* Motivate and support sales teams in selling, coach and mentor direct reports, create a working environment that is conducive to individual growth and conduct performance management for the team.
* Develop client relationships and interest over the span of lengthy large deal cycles and continually builds & reinforces client's perception of the corporation.
* Assist in planning sales strategy; manages the internal processes in support of sales reps and selling activities; aligns tactical account plans with overall corporate strategy;
* Develops and manages geography business plans to meet revenue goals/quotas; develops robust, comprehensive plans that articulate the strategies.
* Builds, monitors and orchestrates the sales pipelines to ensure continuous population of near and long term opportunities.
* Uses competitive intelligence in account planning and sales activities to develop counter strategies that will neutralize competitive influence on the customer's buying decisions
* Contributes to enduring executive relationships at the highest levels of the client's organization; personally interacts with executives; establishes professional relationships and credibility with key IT and business executives in support of other established relationships with the client
* May own full P&L or contribution margin for a country or defined area within a country
* Assists in the recruiting, training and development of Sales Representatives.

Requirements

* Minimum 15-20 years B2B enterprise sales experience within the technology sector with at least 5 years at director/manager level.
* Master's degree preferred.
* Must have proven experience maintaining country budgets.
* Must be Arabic speaking
* Established management background of high level individual contributors & people managers, strong leaderships and business management skills.
* Must possess knowledge in organizational design and planning, managing individual and team productivity and dynamics, and negotiation and influencing skills in cross-functional teams.
