Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Manages the sales activities of the organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

2. Directs sales forecasting activities and performance goals for the team by supporting the team members to meet the expected target budget hence achieving the team target.

3. Handling individual accounts.

4. Conducting meetings with his/her team members and with the marketing team to have an update of the current projects / upcoming shows.

5. Responsible to attend meetings if required with team members for every highly valued project

6. Would be responsible to facilitate sales pitch and increase the confirmed projects ratio.

7. Review market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.

8. Would be responsible to coach and mentor subordinates.

9. Responsible to simplify the design or quotation towards eliminating unprofitable or unwanted items from a sales pitch.

10. Ensure smooth collection of payment from individual client

11. Delivers sales presentations to key clients if required in coordination with the concerned sales representative.

12. Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

13. Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.

14. Operating as the lead point of contact for accounts

15. Enveloping a solid and trusting relationship between major key clients and company

16. Resolving key client issues and complaints

17. Developing a complete understanding of key account needs

18. Anticipating key account changes and improvements

19. Managing communications between key clients and internal teams

20. Managing account team assigned to each client

21. Strategic planning to improve client results

22. Negotiating contracts with client and establishing timeline of performance

23. Establishing and overseeing internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the client

24. Working with design, sales team, and production to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and meeting client's requirements

Requirements

1. Minimum 1-3 years of Exhibitions(Stand buildup and design) industry experience

2. Mandarin/ Malay speaking is a plus

3. Analytical

4. Highly driven attitude towards selling success

5. Relationship management skills with ability to build productive business professional relationships

6. Team player with strong communication skills

7. Target oriented

8. Cost consciousness with budgeting skills

9. Capable of proving them self and demonstrates strong selling skills

10. Understands industry trends and market needs
