Job description / Role
Our client within the exciting and fast paced ecommerce/online sector are looking for a Sales Executive for their Dubai office. The Sales Executive will represent the company, its products and services in liaising direct with customers in negotiating and agreeing participation in online products, ensuring growth in participation and advertising revenue, participating outlets and product sales.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing key accounts in the F&B and Entertainment Industries with a view to securing merchant participation and advertising revenue.
• Manage product development/service mix with reference to merchant participation, web promotions, advertising and customer service expectations.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new merchants and with advertisers.
• Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
• Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information to management.
• Attend and present at external customer meetings necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
• Communicate new products and services, special developments, information or feedback to customer base.
Direct Sales:
• Responsible for the direct selling of the product, directly after signing season or as directed by line manager. E.g. networking events, business groups.
• Identify companies, organizations, associations, government departments and other bodies that meet our demographic and target market and develop a sales strategy to meet Direct Sales KPIs as set by the company.
• Develop a clear and focused direct strategy aimed at seeding product into organizations, and to individuals, in order to trial product/s.
• Develop a clear and focused direct sales strategy in order to sell products and convert organizations / individuals through previous seeding program.
Requirements

• 3 – 5 years’ experience within the sales field preferably within the F&B, retail, FMCG or media industries
• Exposure of working within the ecommerce/online sector preferable.
• Exposure of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills in English are a must
