Sales Manager - North Africa

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Motivate and manage Sales Account Managers in the region.
- Develop new end users and new sales partners, promote product sales and track progress toward sales goal.
- Provide sales and marketing activities by maintaining regular contact and service with customers.
- Apply SEL products and solutions for loose equipment and project sales.
- Provide customer training and new product instruction.
- Participate in the preparation of technical proposals and bids for new projects.
- Coordinate business activities to plan and organize customer visits, conferences and seminars, and provide customer training.
- Collect, analyze and report customer feedback on products and services.
- Maintain familiarity with company products, setting and testing software.
- Provide support to the regional sales& marketing manager in developing sales activities and forecast.
- Participate in the preparation of technical proposals and bids for new projects.
- Continuously identify, measure, and improve processes.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- Fluent French Speaker
- Minimum three years sales experience in electric power industry within North African countries
- Fluent French Speaker
- B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and related business experience
- Minimum eight years business development and sales experience
- Minimum three years experience in electric power industry within North African countries
- Minimum two years experience in a management role
- Excellent presentation, communication and power industrial market development skills
- Ability to travel 50% of working time
- Self-motivated and demonstrated team player
- Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
- Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
- Background check results satisfactory to SEL

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using international numerical protection and automation products
- Strong English reading and writing skills desired
