Sales Manager - Automotive

Job description / Role

A Dubai-based business conglomerate with AED 1 Billion in revenue spread across diverse sectors like Construction, Commercial, Automotive, Retail etc.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
- To maximize sales and thereby increasing market share.
- To identify customer needs’ to achieve margins.

REPORTING: Reports to Divisional Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Visits corporate clients in the field to sell products, follow up on previous sales calls; courtesy visits to fleet owners. Visits to secure new customers.
- Monitors and guides the Sales Executives assigned to him.
- Accompanies sales executives as and when necessary.
- Conducts daily sales meeting with the Sales Executives.
- Submits Weekly and Monthly Reports, and holds daily meetings with Divisional Manager to update on progress.
- Prepares tenders and quotations.
- Coordinates with Service Center and Parts for effective customer care.
- Coordinates with principal relating to orders and with the Finance Dept. to effect clearing and payment.
- Implement safe and environment friendly practices in each work area.
- Ensure that the employees are fully complying with the QHSEMS requirements and as per Company’s Policy & Procedures.
- Lead and drive the work force to achieve the Company’s set QHSEMS objectives and targets.
- Coordinate and provide support to Business Excellence Department for Internal/External audits.
- Carries out any additional tasks assigned (in line with qualifications and ability) by the Divisional Manager.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- Dhs. 14,000 to Dhs. 16,000

Requirements

- Graduate, preferably in Automotive/Mechanical Engineering,
- 10 years of experience in commercial vehicles trade in GCC with a reputed dealer, with 3 years at supervisory level.
- Fluent in English: Arabic an Advantage.
- Computer literate.
- Valid UAE Driving license.
