As the Sales Manager for the Europe market, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust sales strategy to expand the company's market share, increase revenue, and achieve business objectives. Your primary focus will be on trading solar products sourced from various countries and selling them throughout Europe. This is a pivotal role that requires strong business acumen, sales leadership, and expertise in the solar industry.
Our client is a multinational company with diverse business verticals, operating in the solar products industry. With a strong presence in the European market, they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their efforts in expanding their footprint and driving sales growth across Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in trading solar products and a deep understanding of the European market dynamics
* Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate and expand the company's presence in the European market.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify key market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
* Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and business plans, regularly reviewing and adjusting strategies to meet changing market conditions.
* Identify new business opportunities (Channel Partners / Re-sealers) and potential customers within the European market.
* Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to drive business growth.
* Lead negotiations and contract discussions with customers, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.
* Manage and mentor a sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximise their performance and achieve sales targets.
* Set clear objectives, KPIs, and sales targets for the team, monitoring progress and providing regular performance feedback.
* Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales team, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing.
* Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes related to solar products in Europe.
* Analyse customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviour to develop effective product positioning and marketing strategies.
* Monitor sales data, track progress against targets, and provide regular updates to the leadership team.
* Analyze sales trends and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize sales performance.

* Experience in managing and leading a sales team, driving their performance to achieve sales targets.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven business decisions.
* Results-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
