Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The main responsibilities of the Sales and Support Engineer are:

- To help our Customers in the Middle-East region get the most out of the instruments and systems they have purchased from us, in terms of operating time and performances,
- To provide the necessary training to both our Customers and our Distributors in the region, so that they are confident in the performances of our instrumentation and systems,
- To help our Distributors in the region in their sales efforts of our instruments and of our after-sales services (spare parts, training, technical support, etc...),
- To communicate back to our teams in North America all relevant information about what is happening in the region (exhibitions, new projects, competitive information, etc...).

Requirements

- The candidate must have a strong chemistry basic education, followed by extensive experience with analytical instrumentation and systems, commonly used in the Oil-&-Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical industries (gas chromatography, UV and optical fluorescence spectroscopy, etc...), for process control applications. Understanding of the constraints of the corresponding processes would be a plus.
- The candidate must be a good communicator in English, both verbal and written, and must be capable of interacting with a diverse group of stakeholders (from operators and technicians to managers), with equal ease and efficiency.
- The candidate must be self-motivated and an independent decision maker.
- The candidate must be willing and able to travel reasonably throughout the Middle East region. International travel to Europe, Asia and North America may be occasionally required.
