Job description / Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced School Principal to lead our educational institution in Sharjah, UAE.
School Principal to handle the pre-opening and operational phase of a new school which adopt the British Curriculum
Our client is a leading diversified group of companies, one of the group new venture is sizable School which will be operational soon for both boys & girls, and it will be adopting British Curriculum.
They are seeking to appoint highly qualified principal who needs to be on board from day one which means in the beginning of the pre-opening phase. During the pre-opening phase he needs to monitor, control, plan the new project and ensure realization of the project till it reaches the operational phase, which is actual opening.
In other word, during the first stage, the principal will play advisory role and participate in the decision-making process, in a way that ensure meeting the time-table of the project along with the terms & conditions furnished by the Authorities and the related Professional Bodies. The financial aspects such as the budget, the cost of pre-opening as well as the cost of actual operation. Ensure the quality vis-à-vis the industry standard and Authority requirement.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving academic excellence and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities after the pre-opening phase;
- Provide visionary leadership to the school, setting high standards for academic excellence, student behavior, and staff performance.
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with the school's mission and meet the needs of a diverse student population.
- Supervise and support teaching staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environment.
- Ensure compliance with educational laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community.
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of teaching and administrative staff.
- Manage the school's budget and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability and optimal allocation of funds.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment that nurtures the holistic development of students.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a School Principal or in a senior educational leadership role.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field. Principal certification is a plus.
- In-depth understanding of educational best practices, curriculum development, and assessment methods.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others towards a shared vision of educational excellence.
- A track record of driving improvement in student achievement and creating a positive school culture.
- Experience in managing diverse teams and building strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of UAE educational policies, regulations, and cultural context is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
