We are hiring an outstanding Art Teacher to join us at Gems Metropole Al-Waha for August 2024.

Our team is growing as a result of the successful opening in September 2023, popularity and rapid expansion due to enrollments for Sep 2024.

Role Description:
- To advise leaders on the school's Secondary school c urriculum to ensure the curriculum meets the requirements and gives students the best possible chance to succeed in their learning
- To oversee, advise, supervise and quality assure the curriculum implementation by teachers
- To assess the curriculum's overall effectiveness
- To work alongside the Lead Practitioner to ensure consistency and effective delivery of the curriculum in lessons
- To use educational theory and practical application to ensure that the curriculum meets the diverse needs of students
- To ensure the curriculum promotes student achievement and prepares learners for future success
- To foster an engaging and effective learning environment that aligns with the school's educational goals and objectives
- To develop and implement programmes and materials to meet the USPs of the school
- To evaluate the effectiveness of the curriculum and make adjustments based on student performance, and feedback from teachers, students, and parents
- Coordinate with teachers to integrate new teaching strategies and technologies into the curriculum to enhance learning experiences
- Oversee the training and professional development of teachers in curriculum changes, instructional methods, and assessment techniques
- Manage the budget for curriculum development projects, including resources for materials, training, and technology
- Establish partnerships with external educational organizations and stakeholders to enrich the curriculum with additional resources and opportunities for students
- Advocate for innovative educational practices and reforms that address the diverse needs of students and prepare them for future challenges

Requirements

Successful candidates will need:
- A B.Ed. or subject related degree and PGCE / PGDE or equivalent
- Previous experience in similar role/capacity
- Leadership experience preferred
- Interested in career growth, leadership, sustainability
- A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
- Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with students and parents
