The Role

A Security Engineer (Auditor) probes the potential exposure of the NPKI environment ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of the systems and applications

In this role, you will:
- Plan and participate in NPKI security audits, interpreting results against Minimum Security Baseline (MSB)
- Assess policies that govern operation of NPKI
- Assess NPKI technical controls exposure resulting from ineffective or missing controls. Control areas covered include CA Environmental Controls, Key Management & Certificate Lifecycle Management
- Evaluate NPKI policies and ensure they comply with IS corporate security policies
- Plan and lead NPKI audit that includes the certification practice related controls and interpret audit results against NPKI CP/CPS
- Meet with DarkMatter key stakeholders across the organizations to ensure NPKI meets current security standard
- Stay up to date through resources including the Internet Storm Center , CERT , or the OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project)
- Ensure Audit log review and reporting including audit logs for CA, physical access, Splunk, Firewall and IPS

Requirements

- Required Qualifications:
- CISA
- CISSP

Desired skills:
- Ability to effectively present information both written and orally
- Knowledge of Linux, SQL, Networks, Firewalls, IPS, PKI
- Knowledge of Data Center Operations
- Knowledge of IT Security and risk management
