Senior Accountant

Job description / Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant/ Chief Accountant for a property management arm of a leading brand. The role requires someone with strong IFRS knowledge within property management/ leasing experience.

Description
• Preparation of Financial statements as per IFRS requirements and liaison with Internal and external auditors for timely completion of audit.
• Supervises and participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports (Management accounts, cash flows, cash position and assets ad hoc reports)
• Attend strategy meetings and co-ordinate with concerned parties to ensure the reporting if yearly budgets.
• Manage and ensure the assets operations are properly managed by property managers within the organization Oracle systems and ensure reasonable system controls, processes and workflows are in place.
• Liaise with property and facility managers to review and ensure proper monthly closing and reporting process including the review and analysis of the monthly Rent Roll Report of all properties.
• Manage and co-ordinate with property managers for proper cash management, bank accounts and related party reconciliations.
• Manage the maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, accounts receivable, revenue distribution, depreciation, cost, property, and operating expenses, and insurance records.
• Manage the installation and maintenance of accounting systems, employee's access, approval workflow, property, and other related procedures and controls.
• Co-ordinate with property managers and ensure existence of proper procedures over PDCs received from tenants and proper accounting & banking of the same.
• Manage and Coordinate the financial information between the finance team, Asset Management team and the property and facility managers.
