Job description / Role
Our client is an international, Italian company that plans and builds high-tech industrial plants, with particular emphasis within the Oil & Gas sector. The company realizes important infrastructural projects in the fields of transportation and complex constructions and they offer services to private customers, public administrations and to oil companies.
The role of Senior Accountant will include the full accounting cycle up to preparation of financial statements. Responsibilities for this role will include completion of all financial tasks including month end, quarter close and year end closing processes, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing AP and AR, data entry, invoicing, and preparation of monthly bank reconciliations. You will ensure all entries are 100% accurate and timely deadlines, such as month and year end are met and you will also liaise with the audit and compliance team to ensure all procedures are followed and assist them with support with any accountancy preparation.
Requirements
To apply for this role, it is preferred that you possess an Accountant qualification as a minimum requirement and those from an audit and tax background are particularly advantageous for this role. You will be Western educated, adaptable, professional and hands on, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a Senior Accountant position.
Italian speakers will be favoured as a preference, with complete fluency in English being essential.
