Senior Accountant

We're seeking a talented individual who possesses the right blend of expertise in accounting, experience in commodity trading, and familiarity with Navision ERP.

Description

* Analyze financial statements to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
* Assist in the preparation of management reports and presentations for stakeholders.
* Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper recording of all financial transactions.
* Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
* Review journal entries and adjusting entries for accuracy and compliance.
* Establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure internal controls.
* Coordinate annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax filings.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of accounting experience within the UAE.
* Proficiency in Navision ERP is mandatory.
* Experience in the commodity trading industry is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with DMCC regulations and procedures is a plus.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
