Job description / Role
Charterhouse are currently recruiting a Senior Accountant, for a FinTech client, based within their Dubai regional branch. This role will take ownership across all payables and receivables functions and General Ledger activities to ensure accurate and concise account finalization for the regional business.
In conjunction, this role shall also extend to the oversight of financial controls and internal governance, to ensure strong and robust policies across the accounting frameworks. This role will also extend to the production of management accounts and reporting packs, to assist any commercial support, along with oversight of the budgeting and forecasting processes. The Senior Accountant will also be focused on the management of relevant relationships within external audit, tax, banking and any regulatory matters.
Requirements
The client will look to recruit a degree and professionally qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) candidate with a strong knowledge of both audit processes and reporting standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate up to 5 years of experience within an audit, accounting and/or reporting-based roles along with a focused experience towards consolidation of accounts and financial reports. In conjunction, the Senior Accountant will be required to present very strong and clear communication skills; to ensure the support of international reporting lines whilst managing a small regional unit. The nature of the client, and the reporting structures across the business, means that the client is looking to hire a native Mandarin speaking candidate.
