Job description / Role
The Role
* Analyst work will include financial analysis and due diligence, financial modelling, market research, valuation, financial statements analysis, forecasting, competitive analysis, development of client presentations and reports, assistance in the execution of transactions, and drafting of memoranda for internal and external use.
Requirements
The Candidate
* A Bachelor's Degree in finance or finance related field. A Master's degree in a finance related course, CFA or other finance-related advanced professional certification is a plus.
* Minimum of 3 years of investment banking and research experience in the financial sector is a pre-requisite.
* Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for financial modelling and pitch-books. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate should have strong communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effective reports in English and a desire to work in a high-performance environment, often under pressure. Due diligence, valuations for complex transactions, solid knowledge of accounting and finance is a pre-requisite.
