Job Description:
A very interesting role has arisen to work for one of the ME region's top tier firms, within their Dubai Office. The firm has a very successful practice across the Middle East and is one of the most reputable brands, annually appearing tier 1 on legal500 in many practice areas including Litigation.
At this time, they are looking for an experienced Senior Litigation Lawyer to take a senior role within their Tier 1 litigation practice. The role will report directly to one of the leading Litigation Partners in the region, where there will be the opportunity to work on some of the more interesting and high-value cases in the country.
The firm boasts the largest and broadest full service Litigation Practice in the Middle East and their team of highly qualified and experienced practitioners from the Middle East, Europe, Australia, Africa and North America bring a breadth and depth of legal expertise and experience that is unequalled in the region. Their lawyers have rights of audience before the local courts, including the DIFC Courts, and the ability to practice the local laws of all jurisdictions in which they operate. They have the technical expertise and capability to advise clients and conduct all types of litigation in the region including Commercial, Employment, Banking, Transport, Insurance, Construction, IP, and Criminal Cases. They also have a large and very well known Real Estate Litigation Practice where they represent many of the major developers in the region. Their clients range from banks and corporations to government departments and the most high-profile family run companies in the region and globally.
Requirements
Bilingual Arabic Language Skills (Native)
Fluent English language skills
Lawyers should be admitted to practice law in their home country, or another foreign Bar/Law society.
Arab state Law Society Admissions are Acceptable.
10 + PQE Litigation Law experience – Senior Lawyer who must possess an excellent track record in their field.
UAE experience essential
Excellent business development skills/ability to forge new business relationships
