Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Company

A large multination travel organization.

The Role

Assists in compiling and preparing contract bid documents; establishes and maintains contract records and ensures compliance with contractual terms and conditions.

* Interprets contract provisions to help resolve claims and questions submitted by contractors. Assist in the negotiation of contractual terms and conditions with the respective consultants and contractors and finalizing agreements to best serve the interests of the Company and the various pertinent packages and systems
* Ensure continuous liaison and coordination is maintained with contractors and consultants in order to monitor compliance levels with contract requirements and specifications, to effectively and timely deliver the packages and systems' scope of work.
* Receives requests, obtains estimates, updates records, initiates paperwork and follows up on request for approval of work not previously covered in the contract; processes and obtains approval of contract changes.
* Establishes and updates records of all correspondence related to contract activity.
* Assists in compiling and preparing bid documents and bidders list, including inquiry preparations, request for bids and recommendations for award of contract.
* Address and resolve problems any issues that arise throughout the delivery of the various packages and systems, arbitrate claims and complaints and ensure resolution is timely administered, in line with Company's internally established policies and procedures
* Assist in the monitoring of contractors' performance against determined criteria and compliance to contract specifications and obligations and evaluate the need for amendments, extension of contracts or remedial action where deemed necessary, to best serve the needs and requirements of the Company.
* Initiates and/or conducts meetings with contractors concerning contractual problems as requested by Contracts Manager.
* Ensure the approving or rejecting of internal and external requests pertinent to contract terms deviations received by contractors and ensure an impact assessment is carried out to evaluate the impact those changes may have on the Company
* Analyze price proposals, financial reports and other data to determine reasonableness of prices and review and interpret contract provisions to achieve cost efficiencies and reductions where feasible
* Ensure all the contractual related policies and procedures are effectively formulated and administered and are timely revised to incorporate any changes in laws, regulations and/or company policy where deemed appropriate, in order to ensure Company's compliance and eliminate the possibility of violations.

Requirements

The Candidate

* Bachelors' degree in relevant field
* Must have contracts experience.
* Strong administration skills.
* A minimum of 2 - 5 years of relevant experience and a minimum 3 years working in UAE.
