Senior Business Analyst

Job description / Role

We have opportunities across our customer success teams and are interested in speaking with highly talented senior business analyst, who are looking to join one of the largest industry leaders in the aviation sector.

Your industry domain experience (typically 8+ years) with at least 4 years working in IT team of a large organization in the software development lifecycle using structural methodologies.

Establishment of multiple highly complex or critical business processes/systems and design or integration of technical solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business

Provide subject matter expertise and be responsible for maintaining a deep awareness of how a business operations works and helping the stakeholders explore technology possibilities to effectively execute their roles.

You should possess excellent Business Analytical skills with the ability to handle multiple consecutive projects

You should provide analytical support through the analysis and interpretation of data in support of cross-functional business operations.

Must initiate future enhancements or improvements and work directly with the business to prioritize, based on business/user need

Responsible to collaborate with departments to discover, design and deliver on the vision of a solution product or service

You will be responsible to liaise among stakeholders (internal technology support team and vendors on escalated incidents) to manage the business analysis, translating high level business requirements into detailed solution design documentation with system test planning and system rollout for assigned Dubai Airports Group business units and associated projects.

Requirements

You will be educated to a minimum of a degree in a related technical or functional area.

Knowledge
• SaaS (Box, Okta, Yammer, Airport Community App, VisionAir, Laminar, Norma, DocuSign, oracle Fusion HCM, Seer tech learning management, Oracle Taleo, Salesforce, Synthesio)
• Working knowledge in SAAS, PAAS, IAAS, Mobile technologies in Oracle domain.
• Implementation knowledge of oracle core HRMS/Payroll including Fusion Human capital management modules.
• Implementation knowledge of industry standard ERP solutions in the Finance and supply chain domains including billing solutions.
• Financial, Commercial billing Aero and Non-Aero, CRM and Employee Engagement/Advocacy platforms.
• Kronos Workforce Management
• BI Tools: Tableau and Splunk
• Collaboration platforms (Share point, Box)
• Digital process automation tools (Kofax document capture and signature solutions)
• IaaS (AWS, Azure)
• AODB (UFIS, Amadeus, ARINC)
• Resource Management (Amadeus, Quintiq)
• Flight Information (UFIS, VisionAir)
• Optimization and Analysis tools such as predictive Analysis tools, what-if analysis tools, scenario planning and capacity planning solutions etc.
• TAM and ACDM support tools and solutions ( PDS, DMAN, AMAN, CSA etc)
• Check-In Systems (CUTE, CUSS, DCS)
• Integration Knowledge (AIDX, IBM Websphere, API's)
• ETL Tools: SSIS, IBM DataStage, Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator.
• Queue Management solutions such as Xovis.
• Software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
• Dubai Smart Government and related systems
• Airport Domain experience

Training
• Operating knowledge of ITILv3/ISO20000 key process areas
• Project Management (PMBOK, PMP, Prince2, ITILv3 will be preferred)
• Software development life cycle
• Specific certifications related to knowledge areas mentioned above.
