About the team
The senior business analyst will be a core part of the growth and analytics team. With a focus on deep analytics, cross-functional collaboration, and fast-paced delivery, this role requires an individual who can merge strategic insights with tactical execution across all Food, Careem Plus and Dineout.
What you'll do
- Drive analytics for Food partner team and help the team build deeper connections with restaurant partners
- Produce and leverage insights to rapidly grow and improve food business and user experience
- Architect and refine dashboards, ensuring key metrics are accessible, understandable, and actionable for all relevant stakeholders.
- Engage deeply with our data warehouse, ensuring its robustness, relevance, and efficiency.
- Manage ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and timely availability for business operations.
- Continuously challenge the status quo, probing the "So What's" behind every piece of data and insight.
What you'll need
- At least two years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL. Python is a plus
- Experience working with multiple Business Intelligence tools, building reports and dashboards
- Experience with data warehouse and data marts and data infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with both relational and dimensional database modelling.
- Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions, deal with loosely defined problems and fast changing requirements & think abstractly
- Ability to develop algorithms, create aggregation databases, build KPI reporting platforms
- Good to have familiarity with Big Data technologies (eg. Hive, Spark, Presto, Athena, Big Query)
