Senior Business Data Analyst

Charterhouse is working with a government entity based in Abu Dhabi who is looking to hire a Senior Business Data Analyst. This role will play a crucial part in collecting, managing, and presenting strategic data to support decision-making within the organization. This position involves daily operations, continuous process improvement, and collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure accurate and actionable information.

The Senior Business Analyst, will collect and combine data from numerous sources to create comprehensive reports, analyse and interpret data, recognize trends, prospects and issues as well as develop and maintain data collection processes to ensure accuracy and integrity. The Analyst will also collaborate with internal teams for structured and unstructured data gathering, create and maintain data dashboards, reports, and presentations for executive decision-making.

This role will be required to utilize data visualization tools to present complex information in an understandable format whilst making sure to respond to ad-hoc data requests from senior management and support decision-making processes.

In addition, the Analyst will be required to monitor and maintain data quality, implement validation processes, rectify discrepancies and stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to MIS and data presentation.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in either business administration, finance, accounting, commerce, engineering, Applied Sciences, Management Information Systems, or Quality Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of eight years’ experience in MIS, Business Excellence, or Performance Improvement in a large Business Group.

Our client is looking for someone with proficiency in data collection, management, analysis, and interpretation as well as expertise in data visualization and reporting tools. This role is required to have knowledge of MIS systems and their maintenance, familiarity with data privacy and security regulations. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
