Employment: Full Time

Position Summary

Working collaboratively with other PL, business development and operations management to lead sales and marketing efforts and develop relationships with existing and potential customers within the Drilling Rigs for the purpose of securing contracts to provide drilling services to them, developing new business and originating successful capture strategies for these business to improve an organization’s market position and achieve financial growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Identifies new clients and opportunities for Drilling Rigs activities.
• Develops and maintains long-lasting and meaningful relationships with clients and, as well as industry teaming partners.
• Supports regional marketing and sales of various environmental, consulting and engineering projects/programs, teaming partnerships and client engagement activities to implement business development initiatives.
• Monitors market conditions, innovations and trends, and competitors' performance, pricing and sales strategies to maximize competitive stance
• Conducts opportunity and client research to develop and manage effective capture strategies for multiple opportunities, and is able to close new work.
• Leads and/or supports capture teams in pursuit planning; development of win themes; and preparation of compelling proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Arranges and leads company services & capabilities presentations with customers; attend technical seminars and industry events.
• Assists Operations Lead with developing client relationships
• Participation in industry and client organizations as a strategic part of client development
• Work with Marketing team and the countries Operations in the development of collateral pieces and client submittals, as needed
• Work with Operations and Project staff to enhance the companys client relationships across Operations and Project staffing levels
• Maintain client contacts and opportunities on an assigned folder shared appropriately.
• Track goals and produce internal reports, as needed
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM or other sales management system.
• Lead tender preparation and participate in pricing with management team.
• Participate in Company strategic development and strategic update Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
• Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
• Work with Country management to ensure that prerequisites (like pre-qualification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
• Ensure all team members represent the company in the best light.
• Travel as necessary to perform duties.

Requirements

Experience
• Minimum of 15 years of industry experience with a minimum of 5 years as of Business Development experience
• Working experience in an International and diverse cultural environment
• Successful track record on growing business

Education and Training
• Bachelor’s degree.in engineering or science An MBA is a plus.
• Proficient computer skills in MS office software
