RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Executes the specific required Coating inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
- Inspecting surfaces to ensure proper preparation for coating application.
- Checking coating thickness and adhesion.
- Verifying that coating materials meet job specifications and quality standards.
- Reviewing reports of inspection results and recommending corrective actions if necessary.
- Checking and recording atmospheric conditions prior to starting of painting operations.
- Carrying out wet and dry film thickness checks
- Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
- Control of storage and certification of consumables.
- Performs qualifications of coating processes.
- Checks surface preparation.
- Checks and records atmospheric conditions prior to starting of painting operations.
- Carries out wet and dry film thickness checks.
- Monitors observations of the correct coding cycles.
- Performs visuals inspections.
- Performs adhesion testing.
- Performs penetration testing.
- Evaluates impact testing.
- Performs visual checks after blasting.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering
- The candidate must have minimum years of experience in the relevant field or a graduate engineering with minimum years of experience.
- The candidate should have a thorough knowledge and proven ability of all phases and types of critical Painting and coating applications and methods and recognized industry standards and qualified to NACE CIP level II certified or level III.
- Must be qualified to at least diploma level from a recognized technical institute in the relevant discipline.
- Candidate holding certification of NACE CIP level II or BGAS-CSWIP.
