Job description / Role
Our client, a household name in Financial Services, has a very well established presence in the Middle East. They are currently looking for a new Senior Credit Analyst for their Financial Institutions Division.
Duties include:
• Managing a portfolio of Counter-party banks, including the preparation of credit committee documentation
• Writing internal credit reports on Counter-party banks for use internally
• Participation in credit committees for financial institutions when transactions are proposed to the bank
• Interact with contacts at Counter-party banks
• Management of Junior team members and other Internal staff
Requirements
What we are looking for in strong candidates is the following:
• Previous experience gained in one of these three areas: A Financial Institutions Credit Analyst, An Equity Research Analyst covering Financial Institutions, or a Investment Professional whose transaction experience has predominantly covered banks and the financial sector
• Educated to degree level (with professional qualifications an advantage).
• Excellent demonstrable written and verbal communication skills in English (with Arabic or French an advantage).
• Excellent Analytical Mind
• Ability to work independently as well as being a good team player.
• Ability to cope with time pressure and work to deadlines is essential.
