Job description / Role

Using your analytical expertise provide valuable insights from both structured and unstructured data collected from EMEA to aid in the aligning the strategy with the overall success of the organisation.

Description
* Identify analytical opportunities in the 10 focus countries (marketing, pricing, underwriting)
* Extract data from different data sources like the web, structured data (classic database: SQL, Oracle, Cloud) and unstructured data (texts, voice, image)
* Clean and consolidate data
* Build an easily exploitable data environment (example: client matrix)
* Choose and apply the segmentation, prediction and scoring algorithms appropriate for each problem (reporting, customer profiling, appetite score)
* Real time optimization of Machine Learning processes
* Present results and recommendations

Requirements

* PhD or MS degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, CS, Econometrics or any related field
* 6 years' experience doing quantitative and qualitative analysis.
* Fluency in SQL and Python programming languages. Some development experience in at least one scripting language (PHP, Perl, etc.)
* Ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance
* The ability to communicate the results of analysis in a clear and effective manner
* Very good level in statistical analysis and in predictive models
* Preferred experience with a statistical package such as SAS, SPSS Modeler, R,
* Successful projects in unstructured data will be requested, especially voice analysis.
* Experience with large data sets (Big Data) and Digital (Hive/Hadoop) is a plus
* Digital technologies experience is requested
