An international and marketing leading FMCG business are on the market for an experienced Senior Demand Planner. This is an opportunity to be part of a hugely successful multinational organisation that currently employ over 17,000 worldwide.
Your new role
This is a newly created mid management level role with plenty of growth and development opportunity. The role involves both demand and supply chain management. From the demand planning perspective, you will be responsible for supporting the business strategy by leading initiatives covering sales forecasting through to new product launches, as well as systems developments. In regards to supply planning, the new Senior Demand Planner will ensure an adequate supply of product to service customer needs while minimising working inventory costs.The role is a key interface between the Commercial, Supply Planning, Customer Services teams.
Requirements
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role it is essential you are educated to a minimum of degree level and ideally studied a relevant Supply Chain / Business course. You will also need to be experienced working in an FMCG environment with a strong background in Supply Chain / Demand planning. As an individual you will be a analytical thinker with a passion for planning, and have a keenness to continue your career within Supply Chain.
