Job description / Role
• Manage the development of designs by external designers to ensure they are functional, cost-effective and coordinated.
• Review and comment on consultants' designs and documentation.
• Review designs for cost-appropriateness.
• Ensure designs are produced in line with the project timescales.
• Ensure designs recognise current legislation, standards & codes of practice.
• Strive to eliminate health and safety risks in the design
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who has relevant technical knowledge and understands the interdependence between design and construction.
To be considered for this role, you need to have a bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering, possesses experience working for a developer and has worked on high rise and/or five star hotel construction projects.
