Senior Electrical Engineer

Job description / Role

• Carry out Electrical engineering studies, analysis & calculations and develop engineering package including various engineering deliverables. Work in close coordination with “I&E Designer” to develop relevant engineering deliverables.
• Develop or technical review of various electrical studies & calculations such power system study, cable sizing calculation, load flow & short circuit study, switchgear, electrical protection coordination study, relay settings etc.
• Review/ Approve all Electrical design/engineering work carried out by third parties (EPC Contractors/Vendors).
• The feasibility study report inputs clearly indicating the technical requirements, optimum solution and details on Electrical requirements and BOQ / Cost / Schedule.
• Candidate must be able to work on Site - Al Ruwais.

• Conversant with International codes & standards (IEC, IEEE, BS, API), OPCO Specifications & Procedures, design criteria relevant to Electrical Engineering, installation/ testing / commissioning etc.
• Experience with Electrical design engineering software tools (ETAP, SPEL etc.)

Salary:
AED 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
