Job Specific Accountabilities
- Carry out all tasks required to ensure the full implementation of well integrity requirements on total number of wells operated by the Asset team, including a daily follow up on well integrity updates with the Well Integrity site based focal point and providing technical support whenever needed.
- Ensures that all downhole corrosion activities in all fields shallow water and Onshore are being carried out in accordance with Well Integrity Management System WIMS standards and practices.
- Prepares yearly plan for corrosion monitoring, treatment, and prevention, and ensures the appropriate implementation of the plans to mitigate the corrosion risks.
- Coordinates and plans subsurface corrosion investigations and prepares programs and plans for well monitoring surveys such as logging, calliper surveys, downhole coupon.
- Develops necessary programs for corrosion inhibitor squeeze Treatments, Dissolver Treatments. Upon accomplishment of the planned activities, prepares evaluation report for each type of jobs.
- Run corrosion prediction software to evaluate corrosion inhibition performance, well life cycle, corrosion rate.
- Evaluates Corrosion Management System process output, identifies sub-standard practices and performances, and recommends corrective measures.
- Writes technical reports related to corrosion status in ADNOC Onshore fields and make the necessary presentations for the stakeholders and management.

Requirements

Minimum Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Electrochemistry or Metallurgy, or other related engineering discipline
- 8 years of experience in corrosion control and mitigation within the oil/gas production industry including at least 5 years in a supervisory position.
- Expert user of corrosion prediction software.
