BASIC INFORMATION

Position Title

Senior Visual Merchandiser Executive

POSITION OBJECTIVE

We are looking for a creative retail Visual Merchandiser to maximise market share and to provide an excellent in-store experience for our customers. The job holder requires to define, design and implement creative visual merchandising strategy, develop and implement effective Visual Mercha ndising standards, methods and compliance . The job holder will also be responsible for come up with, revise and present design ideas for displays, signages, floor plans and launches, in alignment to product, trend, target market and budget.

DO - Key Responsibilities

1.
Business Growth

- Manage development of creative and innovative Visual Merchandising solutions for the business for the concept.

- Plan and manage visual merchandising tasks to minimize expenditure and maximize productivity within the allocated budget

- Maximize market share using visual merchandising skill and business awareness

2. Visual Merchandising Plan and Design

- Manage, conceptualize and ensure implementation of the Brand Visual Strategy

- Create appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store.

- Co-ordinate with Buyers, Marketing, Store Operations, Projects in determining specific visual merchandising needs for conceptualization and design of Visual Merchandising solutions such as fixtures, displays, creatives and point of sale materials etc

- Plan and develop detailed guidelines and planograms for the department, followed by model store execution.

- Ensure development and implementation of effective Visual Merchandising standards and methods to ensure consistency across all stores.

- Supervise development of creative and innovative Visual Merchandising seasonal concept solutions

- Manage construction and documentation of instore creatives and window guidelines, as required for the departments.

- Plan and ensure development of New Season and Brand update store set ups

- Conducts market research/audit/monitor competitors and understand the latest trends

- Assess and recommend action and create guidelines for promotions and events, and execution across all stores within specified timelines.

- Ensure development and training of In-store Visual Merchandisers, on merchandising standards, space planning and store layout and other visual merchandising techniques.

3. Coordination

- Manage Critical path & calendar for VM function and manage stakeholders accordingly.

- Collate and share guidelines feedback for territory VM teams reagrding guidelines alongwith department VM specialists.

- Keep a track of budget and expenses for all territories.

- Collate Photo reports from all territories and review with department VM specialist.

- Managing the events calendar, weekly bulletins and team projects trackers for the team.

4. People Management

- Conducting Workshops with the store teams

- Developing department visual merchandising champs in regions for effective execution of guidelines and ensure consistency

DISPLAY

QUALIFICATION

Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training

Graduate degree in any field, preferable design

Advanced

Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training

Microsoft Office. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design tools

EXPERIENCE

Minimum Experience

4 years of experience

Specific / Relevant Experience

Proven work experience in the field of visual merchandising, including creating guidelines & planograms, floor plans, window & in-store displays, preferably in the field of makeup, perfumes, or department stores.

COMPETECIES

Skills and Capabilities

- Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio

- Advanced Knowledge of consumer behaviour/market trends/market forecasting techniques

- Ability to analyze sales merchandising reports and survey results.

- Proficiency in English and local language
