Job description / Role
Our client, a leading shipping and marine business, is looking for a CPA qualified Senior Financial Analyst to join their business here in Dubai. Reporting to senior management the successful candidate is responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of both external and internal financial reports to management.
Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Responsible for the preparation of consolidated financial statements
- Oracle support
- Management of company accounts
- Responsible for the review of investments, cash and bank balances
- Analysis of detailed audited financials
- Preparation of month-end financial statement schedules
- Accurate and timely preparation of financial analysis
Requirements
- The successful candidate should be up-to-date in International Financial Reporting Standards.
- Candidates must have a degree in either accounting or finance.
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar role.
- Only CPA/CA/ACCA qualified candidates will be considered.
- Big 4 background is also essential for this role.
