Employment: Full Time

Our Senior Financial Analysts ensure senior managers remain commercially focused and can make strategic business decisions based on accurate and timely reports.

The main purpose of this role is to ensure business cases are accurately prepared for all Projects, ensure accurate benefit plans, costs plans and ongoing costs for all projects are prepared and available. In addition, the role holder will ensure that all projects are built into an ongoing capital plan that reflects the requirements of the organisation on a rolling basis.

In this role you will produce regular and ad hoc reports as well as analyse information and pro-actively investigate any additional management information requirements.

This is a varied and diverse role which will enable you to make a valuable contribution to the growth of Alshaya as a whole
As a Senior Financial Analyst you will be responsible for providing relevant, timely and accurate financial and management information to senior management in adherence with strict deadlines. Responsibilities include:

- Prepare robust business cases & feasibility documents for initiatives.
- Track project costs vs plan.
- Review open purchase orders monthly and suggest actions.
- Liaise with business for project accruals, review monthly CWIP report for asset capitalization.
- Monitor monthly project cash flow.
- Support preparation of annual Capital budget with details.
- Prepare analytical models to help drive business targets.
- Consolidate and present plan, actual and forecast information.
- Support & track cost savings initiatives and provide value added analysis as needed.
- Preparing briefing material to support the planning and quarterly business review processes.

Requirements

Skills and Experience:

- Degree in Business / Finance / Economics from reputed universities.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant from Big 4 firms, consultancy background will be advantageous.
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in Financial Analysis & Modelling.
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint Skills.
- Experience with working on ERP systems.
- Experience within Retail or FMCG sectors is preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
