Senior Front-End Software Engineer

Job description / Role

A Senior Frontend engineer with expertise in web and API integrations.

The FE engineer is responsible for ensuring integration of APIs in merchant sites, alignment of web user experience requirements, optimizing for maximum efficiency and maintaining consistency and quality across all platforms, among others. The FE Developer Lead is required to work in teams alongside Backend Developers and User Experience Designers to ensure all elements of web & mobile application creation are consistent. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software development in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Strong knowledge of ReactJS and Redux
- Experience with React Native or native mobile development
- Enthusiastic about JavaScript standards ES6 and ES7
- Experience with TypeScript or other strongly-typed languages
- Familiarity with build tools and familiarity with the Node.js ecosystem
- Experience with CSS Preprocessors (SASS, LESS) and CSS organization methodologies
- Strong experience in various types of testing approaches and code quality tools
- Experience in building mobile first and responsive web
- Experience with CI/CD practices
- Passion for improving user experience
- Knowledge and experience in Agile methodology
