Job description / Role
We are currently recruiting a Senior Hadoop Developer on behalf of leading international brand who are currently undergoing a significant upgrade in their B2C offering. This is a key position that will draw from candidates with previous experience in Apache Hadoop framework. Ideally looking for a Big Data full-stack developer with Strong exposure in ElasticSearch to join Helix-EmPact scrum team.
Requirements
• 5 years plus total experience of which at least two years should have working experience in the Apache Hadoop framework, HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, PIG, Python, Flume, Sqoop and Oozie.
• Big Data full-stack developer with Strong exposure in ElasticSearch to allocate in Helix-EmPact scrum team
• Full working knowledge of SQL Ability to identify and translate use cases into Hadoop.
• Capability to design and document solutions independently.
• Passion for technology and ability to adapt to new environment.
• Cloudera Manager and Cloudera Navigator, HUE, Shell Scripting Spark, Solr, Mahout, Python, Java, NoSQL (Cassandra, Mongo DB, etc.,), UML and Enterprise Architect.
• Technical Leading Skill.
• Bachelors Degree in Computer/Information Sciences
• Excellent English language skills
