Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Senior HR Executive will be responsible for the main functions of the HR Department, in particular the strategic functions, while supervising the HR and Government Affairs Coordinator.

- Plan, develop and implement strategies for HR management (including recruitment and selection of policy/practices, disciplines, grievance, counseling, pay and conditions, contracts, training and development, succession planning, moral and motivation, culture and attitude development, performance appraisal and quality management issues)
- Contribute to the evaluation and development of HR strategies and performance in cooperation with the executive team
- Looking after the wellbeing of employees through HR initiatives and event planning
- Plan and direct for training of employees including senior managers
- Maintain and build upon team building, motivation and communication strategies in the company
- Maintain and build upon appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of HR development
- Monitor, measure and report on HR issues, opportunities/development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales
- Audit and authenticate all documents related to legal, salary statements and distribution, policies etc.
- Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets
- Create and implement the Internship Program, in addition to sourcing new talent via university careers fairs and other means
- Create, maintain and execute the Induction Program
- Responsible for identifying and recruiting candidates for the different company vacancies and enhancing the candidate selection process via the Assessment Centre

Requirements

- Minimum of 5 years human resources experience (Western educated or Arabic speaking candidates preferred)
- Preferable to have experience in two or more of the following areas: human resources management, organizational development/change management, process improvement, compensation, staffing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Business driven with strong financial acumen
- Strategic planning, complex problem resolution and general management expertise
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
- High level of interpersonal skills and integrity; solid team player
