Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• This role is responsible for championing and delivering the people agenda to support business priorities across the region. This role will be defining and implementing HR strategy, building strong and trusted relationships with employees and managers, as well as the broader international HR organization.
• Be the first point of contact for all HR related activities for the leadership team, line managers and employees.
• Coach, develop and challenge the Leadership Team and managers on the execution of business plans and on people leadership
• Provide leadership, direction and expertise for the full scope of the HR function including employee relations, talent acquisition and development, reward, employee engagement and organizational design and change
• Support and manage annual business cycles, including talent review, performance management, pay review, headcount planning & budget management
• Take ownership of and drive HR agenda.
• Build and maintain effective partnerships with specialist Asia Pacific and International HR teams, including Reward, Global Mobility, Talent Acquisition and Development.
• Line manages the HR coordinator. Provide clear direction, support, coaching and mentoring to enable them to achieve their objectives and proactively support the business.
• Operate at all levels of the business, providing support on all aspects of core employee and organizational management including; Qualifications/Requirements Employee relations
• Deliver a full and professional service across all employee relations activities, including advising and supporting managers on the performance management calendar and practices, acting as the local employment law ''knowledge expert''.
• Respond to employee & manager requests promptly, managing multiple stakeholders, and managing and resolving complex employee queries.

Recruitment:
• Working with the Talent Acquisition team, manage the recruitment process by providing support to the hiring manager in coordinating recruitment, including internal and external advertising, liaising with recruitment agencies where appropriate and interviewing with the hiring manager.
• Ensure that accurate job descriptions are available for each vacancy, roles are benchmarked and full business approval is in place.
• Work proactively with the HR coordinator to prepare contracts and amendment letters for new and/or existing employees.
• Support the starters/leavers process, including on-boarding and induction for new joiners.
• Complete exit interview analysis to enable the business to understand and respond to reasons for turnover.

Learning & Development:
• Support driving key HR initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, training and development, annual surveys and key employee communications.

Employee & Organisational Management:
• Support the maintenance of all systems of record as per employee lifecycle events.
• Adhere to process and ensure compliance across all aspects of employee records.

Payroll & Benefits:
• Work with the HR coordinator to ensure that all appropriate employee benefits applications is managed in a timely manner, and that all payroll documentation is filed and processed each month.

Skills & Experience:
• Looking for a certified HR professional with 8 – 10 years’ experience in an international environment.
• Strong generalist Human Resources experience, ideally in regional HR role
• Ability and appetite to operate across the whole spectrum of operational/tactical HR support to strategic partnering and influencing
• Graduate or equivalent qualification
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal: able to build strong relationships with, and influence, stakeholders across client groups
• A focused and objectives-driven team player who can effectively prioritise workload
• Solid grasp of regional employment law, able to effectively interpret it to stakeholders
• Experience working with SAP HR and downstream applications
• Discreet and sensitive to confidentiality
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Experience in an international, matrix-led and fast moving organisation would be highly advantageous
