Job description / Role
Halian International, a global IT services business, is currently seeking 2 x SIEM Security Specialist’s (Splunk) with a comprehensive working knowledge in the Security industry. Based out of Dubai, UAE, this will be a permanent role, working for one of the country’s most exciting technology focused government entities.
As SIEM Security Specialist (Splunk), you will be working with our client to help deliver, configure and administer the SIEM (Splunk), IPS, Malware Analysis, Advanced Threat Detection, Forensics and other SOC products to support the needs of SOC.
You will also provide first level technical support for SIEM product (Splunk). Some extra responsibilities will be to maintain the health of the SIEM product (Splunk), whilst being able to administer SIEM (Splunk) applications, rules/signatures, access controls, and other configurations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of working in Information Security
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using SIEM (Splunk)
- Certification SIEM product administration (Splunk).
- Any Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of college courses in either Computer Science or Information Technology
- Experience in creating necessary dashboards in SIEM (Splunk) to enable the SOC monitoring.
- Experience in support SOC team by configure report templates in SIEM (Splunk).
- Experience in perform SIEM (Splunk) software patching activities
- Experience in configure/Develop connectors for various log sources to send logs to SIEM (Splunk).
