Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Inventory Management:

- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile variances to ensure data accuracy.

Order Fulfilment:

- Collaborate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Monitor order status and address any delays or issues to maintain smooth operations.

Forecasting and Planning:

- Assist in forecasting demand and planning inventory requirements based on historical data and market trends.
- Contribute to the development of inventory planning strategies to optimize stock levels.

Stock Rotation and Merchandising :

- Implement stock rotation strategies to minimize aging inventory and markdowns.
- Collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.

Documentation and Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and turnover.

Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:

- Work closely with procurement, logistics, and store operations teams to align inventory management with overall business objectives.
- Communicate effectively to address inventory-related issues and facilitate seamless operations.

Quality Control:

- Implement quality control measures to identify and address inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with relevant teams to resolve issues related to damaged or defective stock.

Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the inventory management system.
- Recommend and implement efficiency-enhancing measures.
