Job description / Role
A leading Government entity based in Dubai is looking for an experienced Legal Advisor to join their Corporate Support team. This successful incumbent must have public sector commercial experience and must have solid legal experience gained from the UAE. This is a 1 year contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent role so candidates need to be immediately available and based in the UAE in order to be considered.
Key responsibilities:
- Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, advising on commercial legal projects involving company legislation in the UAE.
- Advising on matters of corporate governance relating to company set-up and formation.
- Advising on legal aspects of regulation and policy relating to businesses established and trading in Dubai's free zone's.
Requirements
- A graduate in either Law coupled with a Law qualification.
- A solid commercial law background with at least 10-15 years PQE.
- A solid understanding of UAE company legislation.
- At least 8 years experience working as a legal advisor in the UAE.
- Experience of advising on corporate governance legal matters.
- Fluency in English is mandatory and Arabic is advantageous.
- Candidates will only be considered if they are based in the UAE aand immediately available for work
