Senior Manager - Technical Compliance

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager - Technical Compliance to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the technical compliance of our products and services with industry standards and regulations. This role requires a deep understanding of technical compliance requirements and the ability to develop and implement strategies to ensure adherence to these standards.

Responsibilities:

• Promoting Macro value of Safety First, exhibiting visible safety behaviors, sharing lessons learned and using safety moments and HSW framework to support the safety and wellbeing of all Macro staff.
• Ensuring robust quality systems are in place and suitably managed in line with service excellence.
• Managing delivery / reporting / coordination from project inception/brief, through design development and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
• Managing tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.
• Attending all operational review meetings with contractors and liaising with local authorities as of when required for approval / close outs.
• Supporting the company by coordinating and assisting with condition surveys, reviews of amended drawings and O&M manuals, budget development and assisting with the development of an asset register as and when required.
• Coordinating support for directly procured technical services within budget.
• Supporting the facilities manager with technical supplier relationships and quality reviews.
• Supporting the site FM team to ensure that FM services are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements and in accordance with Macro policy and guidelines.
• Undertaking administrative tasks including document control and process control in support of the program.
• Preparing progress reports as required by the clients in accordance with Macro procedures.
• Understanding and issuing the permit to work and hot permit to work system and ensure that all users fully understand the process and deliverables.

Requirements

• A degree qualification in Engineering (Civil preferable) or degree in a built environment discipline with similar qualifications.
• Experience in project works should be within consultancy / management roles.
• Middle east experience within project related works.
• With knowledge of Health and Safety.
• Excellent multi-disciplinary technical knowledge.
• Good organisational, relationship and communication skills.
• Strong leadership skills, able to motivate and develop the team.
• Bilingual (Arabic, English, Hindi etc.) would be preferred.
• Full Driver’s license.
