I am urgently seeking a technically gifted Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services), to join one of the top 5 engineering consultancies in the world. This is a long term career opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) that will see you working as part of a dynamic, diverse building services team. This role will see you technically and creatively challenged on some of the most challenging developments in the Middle East. Team work and a collaborative approach are key to any project so your strong communication skills and passion to succeed with others will serve you well.

I have worked with this fantastic organisation for over 10 years and have personally placed a number of Building Services Design Engineers with them across the MENA region who's careers have all flourished. I have also visited their very modern offices on a number of occasions in Dubai, that are located close to the Palm Jumeriah.

Requirements

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) that I am looking for will fulfil the following criteria:

* Degree qualified in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering from a recognised university
* CEng status is preferred although not essential
* 7+ years of experience working within international consultancies on major MEP projects
* The ability to work autonomously on the design of projects from concept through to schematic and detailed design
* Experience working on peer reviews
* Technically very strong within HVAC, Public Health & Fire Protection Design on challenging projects
* Excellent report writing and communication skills
* Knowledge of local codes and standards within the UAE
* Working understanding of the submission processes for DEWA, ADWEA etc.

Salary for this role is in the region of 27000 - 32000 AED per month + medical, flights & gratuity.
