Senior Medical Underwriter

Job description / Role

An Abu Dhabi based insurance company, with offices in Dubai, is looking to hire an experienced Senior Medical Underwriter to join this experienced and growing department.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years UAE or GCC medical insurance experience and must be capable of leading and supervising a team. The role will involve receiving client’s daily queries, underwriting new business, preparing of policy documents, servicing existing clients and the coordination of internal departments.

Requirements

Good written and spoken English is a must, with Arabic language skills being an advantage. Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is advantageous. Medical underwriting experience is essential and only candidates with the relevant experience will be considered for this position. UAE and GCC experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
