Job description / Role
A large and reputable consultancy firm is looking to recruit Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to work on prestigious hotel and mixed use development projects in Dubai, UAE. This role is responsible for managing pre and post contract management as well as budgeting.
Main responsibilities:
- Pre contract management from the concept design to tender design and cost estimation
- Post contract management including the preparation of final accounts, and the management of prolongation and acceleration of cost
- Preparation of EOT
- Procurement management
- Planning and estimation management
- Follow up on any claims and assist in negotiations on the finalisation of the accounts
- Assess the progress of projects and identify & evaluate variations and additions to the original contract work
- Negotiate with clients or their representatives
Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying is essential
- Chartered status such as MRICS preferred
- Must have gained previous Hotel Experience
- 8-15 years of total experience
- Previous Consultancy experience is essential
