Senior Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client a leading UAE based oil and gas operator we are looking to recruit a Senior Planning Engineer. Reporting to the Senior Manager you will be responsible for effectively planning all offshore operations and engineering work scopes to ensure an optimised and effective use of all resources and alignment of priorities with management objectives and business requirements. Implement an integrated plan for all projects to include materials, equipment, fabrication, human and other resource planning requirements in accordance with the work packs

Requirements

The successful candidate must be degree educated in mechanical engineering, have 10 years + experience in establishing and operating project controls and planning within the engineering and construction field (preferably the oil industry) previous experience in an oil company or engineering project management contractor, experience with projects and Brownfield offshore construction for the engineering planning function and advanced experience in Primavera P6, Microsoft Projects and CMMS (Oracle)
